
1. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)
May the Lord bless and keep you, shining upon you with his grace and granting you peace.
2. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Trust in the Lord completely, avoiding reliance on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in everything you do, and he will guide you on a straight path.
3. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. (Psalm 28:7)
The Lord is both my strength and my protection; I trust in him and he aids me. My heart overflows with joy, and I sing praises to him.
4. The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. (Psalm 23:1-3)
The Lord guides me like a shepherd, providing for all my needs. He brings me to peaceful pasturelands and still waters, renewing my soul.
5. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
Those who trust in the Lord will be strengthened, able to soar with the eagles and run without growing tired or weary.
6. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)
If you take joy in the Lord, he will provide all you desire.
7. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)
Let us be grateful for each day the Lord has given us, rejoicing in its blessings.
8. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
The Lord has plans for us that are good, providing prosperity and hope for our future.
9. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Take up courage and face your fears; the Lord walks with you and will never abandon you.
10. The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10)
The Lord's name is a bastion of strength; the righteous can take refuge in it and find safety.
11. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
God loves the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that those who believe in him will have eternal life through him.
12. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6)
Do not give in to worry, but bring your requests to God in prayer, doing so with gratitude.
13. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:8)
Those who ask will receive, those who seek will find, those who knock will have the door opened to them.
14. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
If we confess our sins, God will be faithful and just, forgiving us and washing away all unrighteousness.
15. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34)
Do not worry about tomorrow, as each day comes with its own challenges.
16. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)
Even in the darkest of times, I will not fear, for the Lord walks with me and provides comfort.
17. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91:1)
Those who live in the Lord's protection will find repose in his shadow.
18. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. (Ephesians 1:7)
Through Christ's blood, we are redeemed and forgiven of our sins by the grace of God.
19. I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
Jesus is the path, the truth, and the life; we can only come to God through him.
20. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Encourage and uplift each other, just as you already do.
21. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
God uses everything for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose.
22. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (Proverbs 9:10)
The beginning of wisdom is fearing the Lord and understanding comes from knowing the Holy One.
23. Honor your father and mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you. (Exodus 20:12)
Honor your parents, so that you may live a long life in the land that the Lord has given you.
24. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. (Ephesians 4:29)
Speak no harmful words, but only words of benefit and encouragement that build up those who hear them.
25. Therefore do not be partners with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. (Ephesians 5:7-8)
Do not associate with those living in darkness. You were once part of the darkness, but now you are a child of light, living as such.
26. Treat others as you want them to treat you. (Luke 6:31)
Treat others as you wish to be treated by them.
27. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32)
Show kindness and compassion to one another, forgiving each other just as Christ forgave us.
28. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)
First and foremost, seek the Lord's kingdom and righteousness, with all else to be provided afterwards.
29. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)
The fruit of the Spirit includes love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness
